  2025 Youth City Tournament

 The 2025 Vancouver & District 17th annual Youth City Tournament will be held at Swissport Riverport Lanes in Richmond on Saturday May 31st and Sunday June 1st.  The tournament consists of Teams and Singles/Doubles combined and is open to all league members.  Multiple entries permitted. Cost is $23 per event.  Please see below for tournament rules and tournament entry form.  Send entries and payment to tournaments@vdtba.com

  All prize winners will receive scholarships.  If you have any questions, please contact the Tournament Manager, Fred Tang at fred@ah-9.com 

 By the way, if you wear your Riverport Juniors jersey to the tournament, you will be entered into the draw to win some prizes!

Zander wins Canadian Championship!

Congratulations to Zander Seng who won the Y.B.C. Bantam Boys Singles National Championship in Edmonton, Alberta on May 6 and 7. Zander bowled some really great scores including games of 187, 195, 201, 203, 210 and another 201 in the Stepladder final. 

All Riverport Juniors came home with medals.  Madison Adamos who Bronze Medal in Junior Girls Singles and Aethan Balane won Silver Medal in Senior Boys Singles.  Aethan averaged 210 for the tournament.   Nicely done Madison and Aethan!

 B.C. Wins 2025 Boys Team Championship! 

A big congrats to Team B.C. for winning the 2025 Tenpin Boys Combo Teams Canadian Championship on May 5, 2025.  The team of Aethan Balane, Zander Seng, along with Logan Melin from Duncan Lanes on Vancouver Island and Coach Donald,  captured the Gold Medal.  We are so proud of you!

C.T.F Nationals May 16 – 18

Rachel Wong, Kiyomi Wong, Kayla Imoo and Thomas Chow will be representing B.C. along with Coach Rob at the C.T.F. Canadian Youth Championships in Quebec City from May 16 – 18.  Best wishes to Team B.C.!  You can track their results by clicking on the link below.

Rachel Most Improved Bowler in B.C.

A BIG SHOUT OUT to Rachel Wong who was the 2024 Most Improved bowler in the Province.  Rachel improved her average by 22 pins and that was tops in B.C.  Congratulations Rachel!

B.C. Tenpin Federation  Names 2024 Achiever of the Year Awards

At the B.C. Youth Tournament, the B.C. Tenpin federation named 5 of our youth bowlers as Achiever of the year for 2024.
